The development of the type family Turntable is shown in close detail in the book »III – The Making of the Making Of«.The conceptual idea behind the development of Turntable was to create a typeface which is also legible from a second perspective. All letters and figures are also legible when turned upside down. Every glyph is a different glyph (a turns to e, m to w, ...) or remains itself (s remains s, z remains z) when turned by 180 degrees.
