Licensing Options
Our fonts are available through our online shop for desktop use and web use (self-hosting only). The appropriate licenses need to be purchased, depending on your setup and what you intend to use the fonts for. Please read our license agreements for details. If you consider purchasing a desktop license, refer to the End User License Agreement (EULA). If you consider purchasing a web license, refer to the Web License Agreement.
If you are interested in using our fonts also in mobile apps or need to purchase an e-publishing license or a server license, please contact us at
Pricing scheme of desktop fonts and webfonts
The pricing of desktop fonts is based on the number of computers you want to install and use the Font Software on. Please note that every computer has to belong to the same company or household. The pricing of webfonts is based on the total amount of unique visitors per month and on the number of domains you want to equip with webfonts. All domain names have to belong to the same company.
Discounts and font packages
Our fonts are available in differently sized packages (Complete Package, Small Package, etc.) as well as individually. Have a look at the font packages section to find out what package suits your needs best or alternatively purchase a license for single fonts on their own. When purchasing a license for the same desktop font and webfont (or the same font packages) simultaneously, you will be granted a 50% discount on the lower priced item. These reduced prices are already listed when you calculate your combination of desktop fonts and webfonts.
Font formats for desktop and web
As the names already suggest, desktop fonts are licensed and intended only for desktop use while webfonts are licensed and intended only for web use. You are not allowed to make use of desktop fonts on the web and similarly you are not allowed to use a webfont on a desktop. Please note that desktop fonts and webfonts are different in format.
While desktop fonts are provided as OTFs (OpenType fonts) with a huge character set to allow for an optimal typographic support, webfonts are provided as WOFFs (Web Open Font Format) and EOTs (where applicable) with an optimally reduced character set to allow for small file sizes and hence short loading time.
Special licenses for logotypes and other uses
Please note that for certain application purposes (such as a logotype) a special license is required. Please refer to our license agreements for details. If you have further questions on purchasing licenses for our fonts please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Just write us at and we will get back to you.
